How To Prepare Marshmallow Root

Cold Infusion - Slippery Me Tea

1 heaping tbsp. loose leaf tea

- to -

1 quart of room temperature water

6 hour infusion time

  • Add water to a sealable, preferably glass, container - mason jars work great!

  • Place marshmallow root tea in a muslin bag or cheese cloth.

  • Place bag of marshmallow root in the water. You can seal the string or top of the bag/cloth into the lid so long as the tea is immersed in the water.

  • Let sit on counter for 6 hours.

  • When time is up, SQUEEZE the bag from the top down, extracting all the slippery medicine into the jar of infused liquid.

Drink 2-4 oz per day.

Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
